In tribute to Charles Chikhani
The Award of Determination and Perseverance,

Team spirit is in our culture in GDS and our
achievements are the results of the combined
effort of each team member.
On September 19 2007, Charles Chikhani’s passing
has created a deep shock within the company and
GDS team has lost a much liked and respected
colleague.
As a tribute to Charles, GDS has decided to
dedicate every year an award for determination
and perseverance, two qualities that represent
Charles very well.
This year, this award has been given to the
persons who have worked closely with Charles and
who have taken the entire burden after his
tragic death: Samar Bou Kheir, Micheline Barakat,
Sylva Kachkorian
and Adel Yazbeck.
