Bibliobus – Mobile Library:

The Charles Chikhani Foundation will be launching a mobile library with the aim to provide reading books to deprived schools in Lebanon.

The Mobile Library would tour in a number of schools that do not have libraries, providing reading and educational material to underprivileged children. At a later stage, the bus would also serve as an e-centre and a base for touring artistic activities.
The Mobile Library project is currently under preparation with the help of volunteers, and is to be launched at the beginning of the next school year.

Hyphen Islam-Christianity:

The Charles Chikhani Foundation is supporting the project Hyphen Islam-Christianity which is the work of a team of 6 led by Nada Raphael.

The project includes the publication of a book, a photo exhibition and a round table to take place during the 10th Montreal Festival of the Arab World around the theme of the Muslim-Christian dialogue in Lebanon.

The project will then be touring around the world including Byblos, Zahle and Tyr in Lebanon.
